6:30 A.M.
buzz buzz buzz
In my mind.
Time to wake-up already?...(think).. oh no it's Saturday it's okay.
buzz buzz buzz
oh stop! beep!
...
9:30 A.M. ding! after two minutes ding!
It's a text message from a friend.
"Baptism ngayon ni Brother Santos wala pang tao."
"Ano? oo nga pala! wait!"
"Nandito na yung bagong missionary"
"Anong pangalan?"
"Nakalimutan ko hehehe"
"Kano ba o pinoy?"
"Ewan. Australian ata o Canadian. Asan ka na?"
"Dito pa rin kina sen wait lang."
"Sama ba si boi?"
"Tulog pa rin e."
"Sige. Pwedeng closing prayer ka?"
"ngak!"
"bakit?"
"sige..."
"tapos testimony na rin hehehe"
"nge! hindi ko alam kung makakaabot ako..."
"Asan ka na? Start na"
"waaa! wait lang! sana 10 A.M. na nagstart"
"san ka na ba?"
"jeep na wait." The truth is I'm still waiting for the jeepney to come.
"tapos na baptism."
"Ano? nasa jeep pako ano ba yan sayang!"
"san ka na?"
...
"wait..wala na ata ako maabutan"
"Okay lang. Closing remarks pako."
"Dito nako sa Holy Cross. Lakad nalang"
It's almost 10 A.M. I'm almost running.
Inside the building.
(Panting....)
I entered the second door quietly. I sat on the chair behind everyone. There are only 8 people inside the room. Brother Santos Sampoy and his wife sitting next to each other on front. Elder Kinikini and the new one behind them. And on the other side were Jolito and Jayson. And boi with his closing remarks standing in front of everyone.
Boi sat down.
"Akala ko ba tapos na?"
"Ah yung baptism lang, hindi pa yung program."
"Nareceive mo text ko?"
"Tumayo nako pagkatxt ko sayo e."
Jolito, "...si Sister Wam sa closing prayer."
Wamidoo, "huh?"
I pointed at the hymnbooks to signify that we should have a closing hymn first.
Boi,"closing hymn.."
Jolito, "huh? ay oo closing hymn muna."
:)
